Process and expertise

In order to create an effective solution, it's important to not only understand the client, their objectives and industry, but to also start collecting qualitative and quantitative evidence. By looking at the data and talking with users we can identify which problems actually need to be solved and start to shape the product.

  • User Interviews
  • User testing
  • Google Analytics
  • Heatmaps & Recordings
  • Online Surveys
  • Competitor Analysis
  • UX Review

Research should be refined into a set of prioritised actions which pull together user and business objectives. This can take a variety of formats including personas and hypothesis statements but should ultimately define exactly what needs to be created, in what order and and why.

  • User Journeys
  • Experience Mapping
  • Personas
  • Hypothesis Statements
  • Client workshops

Development focuses on creating and iterating upon the final solution from sketching out low level wireframes and defining an IA through to producing high fidelity designs. Each output wherever possible should be validated and refined, leading to the final solution.

  • Interaction Design
  • Remote Testing
  • User testing

Once live, it's important to continually refine the solution, experiment and improve, ensuring that it delivers against the client's origninal KPIs. Again collecting data and user feedback is key.

  • A/B, M/V Testing
  • Heatmaps & Recordings
