Discover

In order to create an effective solution, it's important to not only understand the client, their objectives and industry, but to also start collecting qualitative and quantitative evidence. By looking at the data and talking with users we can identify which problems actually need to be solved and start to shape the product.

Define

Research should be refined into a set of prioritised actions which pull together user and business objectives. This can take a variety of formats including personas and hypothesis statements but should ultimately define exactly what needs to be created, in what order and and why.
